A Taste for the Figure

Nicholas Pearce, Instructor

Saturday & Sunday, March 7&8, 2009

10:00 - 4:00 pm each day
$150.00 GST

This two-day workshop is for intermediate to advanced artists with a passion for the figure who want to try different acrylic techniques.  A figure painting expresses who we are and our relationship to others, and becomes a very personal statement.  Because much is compressed into this two-day class, photo references will be supplied so we can start painting quickly. During the weekend we will talk about what the image is saying, how to accent that with brush stroke, direction and tonality, and how to use acrylic washes to unify the painting.  Materials not supplied.
